I had the honour of going back to my alma mater, NUS Law School, as a panelist for a panel discussion at the launch of the 9th edition of the NUS Law School Companion. The topic of the panel discussion was 'Perspectives', and it aimed to provide the incoming freshmen with insight into law school, legal practice and life beyond it from a range of perspectives. I had the pleasure of sharing the stage with other esteemed panelists such as Mr Paul Tan from Rajah & Tann, MP Ms Rahayu Mahzam and Professor Joel Lee.
I thoroughly enjoyed sharing my experience transitioning from legal practice to setting up and running Katfood with what I now feel old enough to call 'the younger generation' (haha). Since its been about 9 years since I myself matriculated, the nostalgia was strong at this session!
Thank you once again for having me and I hope the kids (!) found what I had to say (at least slightly) useful x
