Super 3 Ingredient Face Mask!

Who doesn't love a super cheap, super easy, super yummy and super nourishing face mask?! Today we share with you our favourite DIY face mask made with just 3 ingredients readily available in your kitchen.

Honey Oatmeal Lemon Face Mask

Ingredients

1 tablespoon of honey (raw is best! If not, manuka is good too - that's what we used in the picture)

1 teaspoon of finely ground oatmeal

1 tea spoon of fresh lemon juice

optional: a few drops of vitamin e oil

(these proportions are not fixed and can be varied to suit your preference)

 

Steps

Mix in bowl. Done! Now apply to face and fight urge to lick it all off. Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes and wash off.

 

TIP: Leave in fridge before use for maximum awesomeness!

 

LIFEHACK: Use a disposable oral swab to very easily and neatly spread the mask on your face. The spongy tip picks up a perfect amount of mask each time and holds on to the honey very well so it doesn't drip everywhere (nightmare!). Also great for gently scratching your skin if an itch develops while you have your mask on! Disposable oral swabs are available at pharmacies and go for about 40 - 50 cents a piece. Just dump it after use for a hassle-free mask experience :)
